I think I've been overly panicking about this Psychology mid term test that's happening tomorrow. Well... not that the stress isn't good. I think it was necessary to get me back into the swing of things, but I think I studied overly hard for biological psychology. It's only an MCQ test (albeit 100 MCQs in 1 hour) but I went to mug for it like it was a closed book essay test. Although mugging now does have it's benefits - it really is encoded more into my memory than other topics and hence revision in the future will be less tedious.
Anyway, went for dinner with Lester, Kenneth and Linette last night! We went to the North for once, and had Thai Express @ Northpoint. Guess Kenneth was right about thai food tasting better if the location of the restaurant is closer to Thailand. Hahaha. The food last night was better, or at least clearly different from the food served in Thai Express @ Siglap.
Also, I got a stroke of brilliance last night. I figured that I don't study at home so much because it's troublesome to study in my room (no space on table) and distracting to study on the dining table (parents, television etc). So, I figured that I'd make more space on my table by installing a wireless keyboard! And what better keyboard to consider than the Apple Wireless Keyboard - small, functional, aesthetic. Therefore, I borrowed Linette's keyboard and am now using it Bluetooth to my Windows 7 PC! My Razer Lycosa is neatly tucked behind my screen, so if I want to play games all I have to do is whip it out and plug it in. This is beneficial in mainly two ways:
1) It makes studying convenient; with the space on my desktop now it doesn't take much effort to take out my books and lay them on the table.
2) It makes gaming inconvenient; if I have to go through so much trouble in order to play some game, I probably will play less and study more!
(Y) Strategy wins! Now all I have to do is find a good set of rechargeable batteries and buy Lionel's Apple Wireless Keyboard.
Back to finishing up Learning and Memory! Wish me luck for my Psychology mid term test tomorrow.
