So, it's taken me a while to get back here. But for good reason! I've been busy with my work. The psychology MCQ test wasn't too bad at all! But let me hold my tongue lest I say too much and get laughed at when my results show otherwise.
Regardless, once I jumped over that MCQ hurdle, I had to push out the weekly philosophy assignment and my psychology mid term paper. Granted, we were given a full month to write our psychology papers, but honestly, when they issued the questions, I didn't know much about psychology at all. Took me about 2 days to churn out the paper and another one to completely re-write it because my original was terrible!
Anyway, the sprint is not over - the worst is yet to come. I've got that economics mid term test on Monday, and the sociology mid term test on Wednesday. Well, basically the economics one isn't too big a problem. Sat here for an hour or so and breezed through chapters 1 - 4. I'm left with 6 - 9 to cover but it isn't that big a deal really. Having done economics for 2 years in JC, and being the studious fella I am (completing tutorials on time), I think I can handle this test without sweating it. However, the problem lies in the timing of the test. Here's my schedule for Monday:
10am - Economics lecture
2pm - Sociology tutorial
6pm - Psychology lecture
8pm - Economics mid term test
I'm gonna have one terrible Monday :( I just hope my concentration and ability doesn't get too affected that day! But truthfully I think I could do better if the test were held earlier in the day. Sigh.
The sociology test on Wednesday is the problematic one; honestly, sociology can be rather ambiguous sometimes. But luckily I managed to gather some info from the previous lecture and put it to good use for myself! Look first at the micro level, people-people interactions. Observe/make comments about how they interact with one another, then move up a level and look at how these interactions may be influenced by other structures in society. Starting ground up sounds like a plan!
Well, I just needed to breathe a little. Feeling a bit lonely today I guess, but nevermind! I'll go and occupy myself now. Steam saves lives!
