Office Life

This feels odd; really odd. I've not sat in this office for such a long time, let alone run her business while she's away.

Okay, so "running her business" may not be the exact thing I'm doing. Lets just put it this way- aiding her in her work while she is at her seminar. For those who are lost at this point of time, I am currently at my mother's office helping her answer phone calls, send quotations to the respective companies, handling student's parents who call in.

Wow, it seems so odd that I'm actually here. It feels odd and everything, all this responsibility and work. But yes, everyone has to go through this at least once in life. Work experience; such a wonderful thing...

But then again, it's odd how I am supposed to do all this. In the lift up to the office, mum told me, "$20 for today ah. No more than that." And in my mind I go, "AHHHHH". So I'm doing this for $20. Haha, that isn't that case. I'm doing this to help my mother as she's at a leadership seminar (church).

I hope that today will go all smoothe and cool... Well I don't wish to screw up on my first day at work do I? (: smiles. But yet I'm worried, what time is xiu's remedial? Is it at 8.30am? I called then but did she hang up because she was in remedial and busy, or did she hang up sleepily? And then again, I called afterward. Did she not answer because she was in the shower? Or because she was rushing to school? Or because she was already in remedial?

So many questions, so many theories and so many variations of answers! Which is the best route? If i continue calling her, she may find me irritating as she may be in remedial. But if I don't, she may be angry that I did not make sure she went to remedial.

AHHH DILEMMA!! HOW?!

(I shall continue calling. Mm!)
