Man that previous post didn't work at all. Haha.
Anyway I've successfully forced myself to sit down and blog, finally. Time to update anyone who needs to be updated!
Last night's birthday gathering was, well interesting. Haha, Marshall and Darren couldn't get off the com but oh well they were rather antisocial, what to do? Darren's grown up! Haha. But anyway it was fun just sitting round the table talking cock the entire night. Haha I want to thank Zi Hui, Dimira, Huimin, Beale, Vishi, Lester, Kenneth, Varun, Marcus, Jonathan, and last but not least Liann! For coming down last night. Special thanks to ZiHui, Dimira and HuiMin for the SUPER CUTE SOUTH PARK BOXERS. Haha I'm wearing them now! Also more thanks to everyone who helped out with the fire, like Darren who loved to break big pieces of charcoal into smaller pieces, and Kenneth the pro-match user, and of course, Jonathan, the big insulator.
Hehe, so many things to thank people for, thanks Marcus for picking people up! And well Liann for coming anyway even though we knew it was going to be a BIT awkward. Haha.
But yes, today was a fine day as well, even though this morning when Marshall, Darren and me went out of the house, it was raining. Aiyah I'll just write what happened out.
*Darren, Eugene and Marshall exit basement. They see the side gate, and want to take a taxi to Katong Mall, where Marshall is having tuition.*
Eugene (Carrying a guitar on his back, and a paper bag of pedals, cables, and his iPod)
: Alright guys, here's the plan. I will run to the button and press it, simultaneously Marshall will run to the door and open it, and Darren will run out of the door, onto the road to hail the taxi.
Marshall: Okay set.
Darren *nod nod*
Eugene: Okay. One, two, three GOGOGOGOGO.
The three musketeers run, Eugene successfully presses the green button, Marshall swings the door open and Darren barely scrapes past. Out onto the road the three run, with Darren leading the way, followed by Marshall and finally Eugene who was having trouble with his paper bag.
Then all of a sudden, it all turned wrong. Eugene's paper bag tore, and all his stuff just BOOM dropped out. Marshall and Darren couldnt hear the load crash, and Eugene was stranded. To his horror, when he looked up, Marshall and Darren were running in the wrong direction. It was the funniest sight in the world, Eugene couldn't stop laughing. Laugh laugh laugh, then he decided to pick all his stuff up and run to the bus stop. Eventually, Darren and Marshall reached the bus stop and looked back.
Marshall: Where's Eugene
Darren laughing really hard: HAHAHAHHAHAHA
Marshall: HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
*Eugene runs into the bus stop*
Eugene: *Huff Puff Huff Puff* WALAO you bastards. F***! I'm DRENCHED lah. You all run so fast never look behind see all my stuff drop *HAHAHA*. Oh well lets dry it now and hail a cab whenever convenient.
Anyway that was my morning. Haha what a joke.
Besides that I bought my new guitar! It's a Tomanico, oh well it costs $500, but Jeffrey, who tested it, said it sounded like a $1000+ guitar! What a buy, what a buy. $521 for the guitar, $80 for the hard case, but I got a $71 discount, so quite a good buy I'd say.
Hmm, Mr Liauw's guitar festival is coming up, TJ's playing. Sadly my group's "Beauty and the Beast" score, which we'd been practising for so long, was wrong! Aiyah die lah, but anyway Mr Liauw suggested we get the proper score from him. However instead of learning it all over again, we kinda decided to do a song we faintly knew, so end up we're playing Close to You. Time's running short, we'll have to pracitce hard!
Well, it's time I showered and packed my room. Gotta go! ZOOM.
I like the way we look into each other's eyes, it makes the world feel so much less complicated, it makes life seem so much easier to live. It makes problems fade away, it makes the stars just wanna stay. How I long for the night just to last forever, well maybe it can, and maybe it will. It'll last forever in my memory.
Eugene
