Yes! I'm SO EXCITED! I came up with this riff while doing my hair. I just suddenly thought about it and stuff. And I figured how to play it on the guitar. As in, this shit goes like this. You think of a tune, you play it on the guitar, and it's labelled yours because you thought of it.
So yes, I came up with a nice nice niceeee riff to play. However, I seriously need a lyricist to work with me here. No one's going to listen to a song which plays rhythm guitar throughout and there are no vocals, right? I'm not going to release a solo album yet. Heh.
Man, I need a lyricist to work with me. I suck at lyrics, I only do the chords.
Then again, the progression I just came up with only consists of major chords. The normal stuff. When I come back home maybe I'll add some colour here and there. Throw in a maj7 here, dim7 there. See if it works out right. Hey I'm no genius, I work through trail and error and thats how some miracles come about.
