Love

I love YOU, not your characteristics...

Its strange, this thing they all call love. A lot of people say that love is incomprehendable, not able to be understood. A lot of people ask questions like: what is love?

Well, I guess my post tonight will not tell you the answer to that, but it may just set you on the right track to think about the answers..

When someone asks you, "Why do you love me?" If your reply boils down to one reason, then you no longer love the person. Eg: "I love you because you're super cute!" But then this would mean that you could love another person who is super cute.

People come in packages: I have a high tolerance level but I am forgetful. We have to accept this: people are just people. We make mistakes, we are not perfect. Love is about looking past one's imperfection and overcoming it together with the person so that both of you are perfect in each other's eyes.

I love you, not because you are cute, not because you are pretty, not because you are intelligent, not because you are able to control me, but because you are a package that is right for me. It's a long and complicated winding thing that I cannot explain using words. You have to look deep into my heart to find out what I mean; but I mean it, deep and true. I love YOU.
