How could this be.

i guess this post will be sorta blur to all of u ppl who arent extremely close to me as friends and dun really know what's going on now..

yeah just two days ago i was walking down orchard road with xiu, and i felt this growing pain in my chest area (left) and so we went to taka to sit down at the fountain area.. it grew more pain everytime i tried to stand up. so we jus sat there. xiu said it was heartburn.. aft a while we stood up and we went to get a cup of hot milo.. i called mummy to ask her whats going on.. first time.. and then i badly wanted to go home and rest.. but had xiu there couldnt abandon her like that..

aft that the pain returned but i kept kinda mum abt it...
then mummy fetched us to marine parade library to study cos orchard library no space.. and then the pain started to spread to my left arm - like a numbing pain.. muscle ache kinda feeling.. at the same time my chest wld hurt. anyway. we studied finish. i went home.. mummy fetched..

and i went to check up this term called heartburn.. cos my mum commented that it may be heartburn too. here's the info.

Heartburn is a pain behind the breast bone, often described as ‘burning’ in quality. Pain can also be felt at the same level in the mid-line of the back. Most people suffer from heartburn at one time or another. In fact heartburn has nothing to do with the heart - it is a digestive problem. Heartburn is generally related to meals and posture and can often be relieved by remedies for indigestion.

but i then realised this.

There are two kinds of heart pain. The first, angina, is a pain in the chest due to a temporary shortage of oxygen being carried in the blood to the heart muscle. Angina should be suspected if the chest pain is brought on by exercise and relieved by rest. The second is the more severe and prolonged pain of a heart attack. A heart attack should be suspected if the pain is felt intensely in the centre of the chest, spreading perhaps to one or both arms (especially the left) and into the lower jaw; or feels like a heavy pressure or is ‘vice-like’.

err. heart attack?
thats when i got worried.. so i callled my mum up. we prayed, we had the holy comm, we decided to go to the doc the day aft for a checkup.

-yesterday i went to the doc to check up. my blood pressure was normal. so he suspected pneumothorax..

well this basically means that my lung has a small tear, thus causing a leakage of air. when the air leaks out, it compresses my lung. this causes the pain..

so i went for my x ray at east shore.. confirmed it was pneumothorax, jus minor one. but still gotta take care.. yeah. haha. small tear, like only 10%.

today i went for my follow-up appointment.. doc re-introduced me to pneumothorax.. showed me some of the stages.. i got my xrays back today ya. woot the tear is so small! compared so some where the lungs are really compressed and shifted to the other side.

Yyes, thats the bad version of pneumothorax. if i have that, i'll have to undergo this chest tube thing.

oh well thank god mine's only minor. but i still have to abstain from PE for around 2 weeks..

yeah. jus to let anyone who's concerned know, im fine. haha i just need rest and not to shout loudly, exercise my lungs etc. (: aft im healed i'd go swimming and biking all over again. haha. my doc said this tear might have been caused by me laughing too loudly or smt. LOL? (: i'd take care.

-ur forgiven. as in. i never blamed u.. if i did it was in a fit of anger and depression. but u'd always be accepted back into my arms.
